8 Important Everyday Life Lessons

2015/04/08

“Courage: the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.” ― Maya Angelou

  1. One of the hardest lessons in life to learn is figuring out which bridges to cross and which to burn.
  2. There’s always some truth behind ‘just kidding,’ knowledge behind ‘I don’t know,’ emotion behind ‘I don’t care,’ and pain behind: ‘It’s okay.’ So pay close attention to how people feel.
  3. People are going to talk no matter what you do, so you might as well give them something to talk about.
  4. You never know how strong you really are until being strong is the only choice you have.
  5. The most painful and worst possible types of goodbyes are the ones that are never said, or never explained.
  6. Too many people buy things they don’t need with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t know.
  7. Crying doesn’t indicate that you’re weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you’re alive.
  8. The best thing in life is finding someone who knows about all your flaws and still thinks you’re completely amazing.
